ADSL is best for organisations that generally download more than they upload. It's a fast and cost-effective upgrade for organisations currently using an ordinary modem or ISDN line. Speeds range from 256Kbps to 24Mbps.

| SHDSL is more suitable for organisations that generally upload as much data as they download. Speeds range from 512Kbps/512Kbps to 8Mbps/8Mbps. It comes into its own as a product when you have remote workers or offices. |
